Definitely interesting

Catchy pop number we've got ourselves here, with tribal techno mixes and quite a big similarity (seen from a musical point of view) to her other songs. The video's quite provocative, too, but fortunately I don't mind a bit of fake blasphemy. I think it's interesting and good to watch, so why be offended? From my artistic mind, she's free to do whatever she wants, and she's not caring about other peoples' thoughts anyway, she's really somebody to look up to.

Unfortunately I've only got the link because it won't let me embed the video, but please watch it!

Somehow I end up neglecting this blog; always!

But I have a small gem. I've recently heard that song (a few times), and it never ceases to make me feel unbelievably happy and warm and fuzzy. Of course it's usually the Billy Joel-version, but today I found this very very awesome cover by Fyfe Dangerfield.

Insta-Love!

Commercials, you do me no good!

Usually they only feature huge crap, but lately I've heard quite a few good songs (not taking Apple in because they ALWAYS have great music in their ads). Pantene - the hair-care product line - featured not the first awesome song. They had Jem's 'They' one or two years ago, and now they have this, which required quite some searchwork for me to find:

I love that type of music, it reminds me of Mono's 'Life in Mono', which I dearly adore, too. It's my lullaby, kind of, because I listen to it when I go to bed. That's something I didn't do before.

Covered something again~

This time it's Leaving on a Jetplane, originally by John Denver. Also, I made this with my dearie Peppersally, the bestest prettiest guitar ever :)

Thank you for that awesome Band, Bones!

While watching an episode of Bones, a show I love to no end (but it angers me so much, I hate the big fat sexual tension between Brennan and Booth, why can't they just get over with it and do it like mad rabbits? Ugh.). And they just happened to play a very good song by a band called 'The Bird and the Bee'. Perfectly fitting my music taste, I acquired their album 'Ray Guns are not just the Future' and proceeded to fall in love with the song 'Love Letter to Japan'. So quirky, so cute. Hello awesomeness, goodbye sanity. There you go, I hope you like it, but you will NEVER love it as much as I do. (Might just be because her singing reminds me of Regina Spektor a bit, whom I adore even more. Whee, that rhymes!)

Random video is random big time.

Hahahahaha

You already know about my obsession with American Psycho, don't you? Well, there's this music video made by a guy who seriously looks like Mr. Sexybale in some scenes. Aweeeeeesome. I think I'm in love.

Oh seriously.

This fucking song. Emphasis on FUCKING. No, it's so full of sex, not funny anymore. How I adore it. Unhealthy. And it turns me on, meee-yow! Fuck that damn sexy song.
Nah, but listen to it. It's good. Try not to get your computers sticky, though. Use of tissues is recommended.
